Dice the Echidna
Dice is a 21-year old Echidna whose dimension of origin is different from that of Sonic's or Blaze's.  A pyrokinetic, and also a very smart and crafty individual, Dice is better known for his collection of dice, which he makes into spiffy gadgets, such as cameras, smoke generators, and most often of all, bombs.  Their success rates, as well as their effectiveness, are all based on the number rolled on the dice.
Dice is very sweet, kind, and caring, and only fights when needed.  However, he does NOT take kindly to violence or abuse, and looks down upon fathers who have abused their families and children.  Dice lives by the sole purpose of protecting children as an innocent follower of the Holy One, yet he takes on mercenarial missions, making him a Neutral character.

Distinguishable features:
*His hair is poofy and fluffy, and also very soft to the touch.
*He has a clover-tipped tail that gives him his Plant-element (and also makes him weak to Fire at the same time).
*Unlike most Echidnas, he bears 3 spikes on each fist instead of 2; however, his punches are still weaker than that of Knuckles the Echidna.
*If his shirt is off, you will see a white birthmark on his chest that looks like the bottom half of an 8-pointed star.  His arms will also reveal a rather disturbing image from his past. His left arm contains 2 long, dried-out scars from where he was clawed, and his right arm bears a huge blotch of burned fur/skin (second-degree burn) that will never go away.  The burn was caused by a Plasma Discharge from an enemy Diamond Claw robot, the same one who left the claw mark on his other arm.  He hides this on purpose with his tuxedo; he doesn't want others to see the pain he's been through and worry about him since it happened so long ago.
*If his pants are off, you will see that:
1.) He wears boxer shorts.
2.) He has a 4-leaf clover marking on his right leg, just above his knee.  Again, this white marking is also a birthmark.  Strange that he had that at birth, but his clover tail didn't come until after the genetic mutation... some say he was bound to have that little cute clover tail of his~

Economic Status: Very high, being a mercenary gives great pay! However, it DOES have its risks...
Strengths: Plants/Nature - they don't stand a chance against his fiery powers!  Dice also has 3 hands; basically, his tail acts as a 3rd hand.  With this, he can perform a number of tricks just by using his tail alone.  Also, Dice is very great at keeping secrets, making him a good friend.
Weaknesses: Dice is much more susceptible to poisons, toxins, and venoms, so he needs to have emergency antidotes on hand as safety measures. Being a Pyrokinetic--and a lover of heat--Dice is weak to both Ice AND Water.  While Water attacks don't deliver the same super-effectiveness as Ice attacks, Dice's attack and speed are powered down for the rest of the battle upon his first hit if he is currently wielding Pyrokinesis at that time.  Then, he becomes incapable of using fire-based attacks and has reduced flying capability (flying as if he was having a halluncination) for the rest of the battle.  Ice does a LOT more damage to Dice and it is his absolute main weakness, since he cannot survive in cold weather, even with temps below 45 degrees Farenheit...  Apart from that, personality-wise, he is 5 times more gullible than Knuckles, and will trust just about anyone, even someone he doesn't completely know...
Likes: Hanging out with friends, flying, junk food, cheeseburgers, pasta, pizza, soda, tea, hugs, plants/veggies (and so does his clover tail!), adventure, drawing, video games, trading card games, his outfit (and I wish I HAD it in real life T.T), Descent (the video game)...
Hates: People with large egos, annoying people (though he tries to hide it), "fake friends," whores, violence, child abuse, anything dealing with alcohol or drugs, spikes, bugs, spikey bugs and bugs that bite or sting, eggs, sushi, EggMan, Samuel Dravis, not getting enough sleep, having a very short budget to work with, mushrooms...
Fears: Roaches, his father, fire (he's also weak to it), bees, June bugs, not making it to work (or rather, his next mission) on time, getting others mad at him for eternity, losing friends, being alone...

Attack Techniques:

[Dice Bombs]
A basic bomb attack, these handy bombs rarely let Dice down.  Their damage and blast radius depend on the number that appears face-up when the dice bomb comes in contact with an object.

[Fireball Charge]
Dice charges up an orb of flames between his hands and throws it to attack.  Longer charges deliver contsant damage to Dice if held down, but deliver more damage to the foe and fly faster when released.  However, there is no limit to restrain the fireball, so if Dice isn't careful he could burn himself to death before releasing the fireball!  NOT RECOMMENDED for Dice to use when he has very low health...

[Ember Stream]
This is basically the Fireball Charge shot several times all at once on the lowest charge setting possible (for maximum rapid-fire).  It does very little damage per hit and is easy to avoid, seeing how the fireballs are rather small in size.  However, the fireballs are so small in that sense that they are incapable of inflicting a burn status at all.  Yet the damage can add up quickly, though the attack is not even strong enough to cause flinching, so you can still easily move after getting hit by the attack(s).  Plus, this attack is widespread and has absolutely no aiming ability whatsoever.

[Two-One Punch]
Dice throws punches with both his fists, then uses a 3rd suckerpunch with his clover tail.  Since this move is purely physical, it does not inflict any status conditions.

[Neon Boomerang]
Dice creates a boomerang with mystic energy, then throws it at the foe.  The damage is low-to-medium.  It is a two-hit boomerang whereas the first hit hits with a 50% chance, while the second hit is completely unavoidable (unless you travel dimensions or melt into shadows to avoid the attack).  This is because it will home-in on the 2nd hit from behind.  While the boomerang is made out of energy--and not a solid matter, it causes magic damage; therefore, it does not cut enemies. (yay no blood)

[Hot Dice]
Dice throws Dice Bombs charged with Pyrokinesis, increasing the value of the dice by 2. This means that the dice now read (3,4,5,6,7,8) on their damage scale. They are also much more fragile than before: if they hit even the softest surface with a force as low as 0.01kg, they will explode with great force. This will make them trigger EVEN if Psychokinesis is used on the dice--since Psychic powers are a mystical force and the dice bombs heated up with fire will sense them easier. Since the explosion ranges are now higher, Dice will need EVEN MORE distance between himself and his foe to prevent recoil damage than ever before!

[Fire Sucker Punch] (it's not actually a Fire attack, just so you all know. However, it DOES require him to be able to wield Pyrokinesis...)
Dice charges his fists with Fire, making his opponent expect him to use a Fire Punch on them... however, right before he gets ready to release the punch, Dice decharges his fists and instead does a spinning punch attack with his clover-tipped tail. Since his tail *tries* to charge itself with energy like his real fists, but can't utilize Fire, it instead charges a sort of mystical luck energy. If it hits, it has a 30% chance of giving the hit foe "Unlucky" status, which reduces their accuracy and their chances of getting a critical hit.

[Explosion Punch]
Dice charges a fireball in his hand, just like a normal attack. However, instead of throwing it, he charges his fists with Pyrokinesis at the same time, punching with the fist that has the fireball, making a small but powerful explosion. Since it is a close-ranged explosion attack, Dice ALWAYS takes recoil damage; and, since it is a flaming explosion, he takes 75% recoil damage--which is above half--and gets the Burn status inflicted upon himself.

[Fire Boomerang]
A super-heated and overcharged mystical boomerang attack that does 1.5x more damage, AND HITS WITH 90% ACCURACY on the first strike. However, it does NOT strike a second time; due to the overheated energy of the boomerang, it dies out too quickly before it can come back around again.

Support Techniques:

[Smoke Bombs]
Same as the Dice Bombs, except these are non-damaging.  Instead of damage and blast radius being the factors here, it's the duration of the smoke spewing forth from the die, as well as the thickness of the smoke and the type of smoke these dice contain.  You could basically fill them with tear gas to poison, sleeping gas to induce sleep, nitrogen to slow or freeze the enemy, electric gas to paralyze the enemy, or a healing gas to restore energy (to allies).

[Phoenix Wing]
Dice flies up in the air, and showers Phoenix feathers all over his allies burnt into ashes with his Fire abilities and directed to his allies with mystic energies. The feathers heal not only himself, but all surrounding allies as well, making this move a widespread healing move for Dice and his ever-so-close companions~ it can only be used once per battle though.

[K-9 Units]
Dice summons special robotic forces--in thr form of lil' pups--to attack his foes!  They charge and bite the nearest enemies.  If all the nearby enemies get defeated, they return to Dice and stick with him for a while, until another enemy shows up.  They have their own health as well.

[Clover Swing]
Using his clover tail, Dice can swing--and this hold on to--any poles with it, whether they're horizontal or vertical (he will slide and thus fall from angled poles).  Imagine an Aipom.  Yeah. XD

[Flame Barrier Generate]
By draining 10 of his Rings, Dice can place up a Flame Barrier around him or another ally, provided the guy doesn't already have one up.  This has the same properties as any Fire Barrier; repels all projectiles and completely negates Fire damage. If you have control over the Fire element, you can use the Flame Dash in midair with it!

Inventory:
(Weapon) Maroon gloves (given to him by NicaLimonko).  He has kept them ever since, as a sign of the close friendship he has with the lemoney girl Echidna...
(Key Item) Black cellphone (metroPCS)
(Equip) Deck with 40-60 cards in it (for Dueling)
(Key Item) A small wallet (that only holds up to 200 Rings)
(Key Item) A sack to hold his Dice-based gadgets
(Key Item) Goggles (which he rarely ever wears)
(Armor) Flame-decaled boots with gold buckles.  These boots, when charged with Pyrokinesis, enable him to hover without using his wings, thus increasing his acceleration along the ground.
(Equip) A gold watch on his left wrist that shows time, date, and weather conditions.  It's not real gold though, just gold-plated.  Rumors have spread that this watch is just for looks though.
(Equip) Another watch on the same wrist below the one he has on his left wrist, with a pleathora of features--the most recent being the scan-and-identify feature.  It is unknown where or how he got this watch, except for 2 "twin" Echidnas in particular... *wink wink*
(Health) A small collection of antidote bottles.  He only carries 3 at a time.
(Health) Emergency Rations with various flavors.  He carries 5 of these at a time, and they are never the same flavors; they're assorted...
(Weapon) A portable Vauss Cannon.  It always starts with 5000 rounds per mission and, most often, cannot be reloaded due to the low amount of ammo resources in the areas he delves into.
(Attire) Black tuxedo set with a black shirt, black jeans, and a black/red-striped tie.  His tie is his most prized possession, and will attack almost anyone who tries to mess with it.  For close friends and lovers though, this is a completely different story... <3

Hyper Luck Dice
Dice is the guardian of the Clover Gems.  Unlike the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, of which there are 7 each, the Clover Gems come in a set of 8.
They come in all 7 colors of the rainbow, along with an additional color--silver.
Individually, they can be used as a household piece--a good luck charm, providing a sense of sanctuary throughout the home.
When 4 are gathered, they can provide anyone with 10 times the luck they previously had before.
And when Dice collects all 8, he transforms into Hyper Luck Dice and changes significantly--

*The three dots on his head split up and move around, forming a 6 [:::].
*His dreads grow to twice their original length, and would droop along the ground if he was standing on it.
*He always has his Phoenix wings out, and cannot unfold them back until the transformation dies out.
*His fur color changes from Lime Green to a flaming orange, his hair color changes to gold and silver, and his pupils change to a hyper yellow color.
*His hair goes from being poofy to spikey, and sticks out in all directions, burning just as bright as he is.
*His left arm, where he was clawed, morphs into an arm blade made out of the very material that was used to cut him there to begin with.
*His right arm, where he was burned, gains an arm shield with a clear, green, subatomic, blob-like, superheated energy flowing through the center of the shield.  This has the same properties as the Ice Boss's Energy Discharge (from Descent 2): it completely negates all Energy damage and releases a spew of green homing plasma blobs upon impact.
*His clover tail accquires golden leaves and has a 4th leaf appear on it.
*Finally, he gains new techniques only available in his Hyper Luck form:

Attack:
[BOXCARS!]
Dice throws Dice Bombs or Smoke Dice that always land on a 6.

[Special Equipment]
Dice gains the beforementioned equipment mentioned earlier.  They say this was caused by a mystic reaction within the power of the Clover Gems, and also imbued with the "trace elements" found underneath Dice's skin in his arms, where he was permanently damaged.

[Fortunus Rush]
A legendary attack passed down from his tribe.
Summons a shower of clovers from his dimension to attack all foes, inflicting critical damage and adding the power of his own element, Fire, into the attack, making it burn as well. (The base element is Plant.  Any Fortunus member can use this attack in their Super Form, and the added element depends on their main element of choice.)
Also, it gives Dice unlimited use of the Flame Barrier's Flame Dash for a limited time, as well as all its elemental properties.  AND--it can survive in water!

Support:
[HYPER LUCK!!!]
His best-known ability, he ensures that the opponent's next move hits the target with a 0% chnace (it doesn't have to hit Hyper Luck Dice, it can hit an ally of his too and still automatically miss), and that his own next attack hits with a 100% chance, and does twice the damage!  Only works up to 6 times per battle; a white dot on his forehead will turn blue when this happens, indicating he's used one up.

[Phoenixian Rebirth]
Dice's "Full Party Recovery" move!  It instantly heals all allies (including himself), recovers everyone's health to max, and recovers everyone's Power Points (or ability to use Special Attacks) to max! However, he can only use this once per battle in the form he's in.
